Casual & Fun Atmosphere

This isn't a formal concert - it's a celebration of brass music! Expect a relaxed pub atmosphere where musicians and audience members mingle, enjoy great food and drinks, and appreciate live music together.

Rotating Performances

Groups take turns performing short sets throughout the afternoon. The exact schedule will depend on how many groups register, but expect each group to play once or twice during the event.

Pass the Hat

After each performance, groups can pass the hat (or bucket, or set up a Venmo QR code). Audience members show their appreciation with donations that go directly to the performers. It's a fun way to support live music!

What kind of groups can participate?

Groups should be mostly brass band associated musicians. Small ensembles of all skill levels are welcome - from professional players to community band members. Some non-brass instruments are fine too!

How long should our performance be?

We recommend 10-20 minute sets. This gives everyone a chance to perform and keeps the energy up throughout the afternoon.

Is there a registration fee?

No! Registration is completely free. Just sign up, show up, and play.

How do donations work?

Each group manages their own "hat" or tip jar. You collect donations however you prefer - bucket, hat, Venmo, etc. All donations go directly to you.

What equipment is provided?

We provide 9 music stands. You'll need to bring your own instruments and any additional stands your group needs.

Can audience members attend without performing?

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the music, food, and drinks. Audience donations to performers are encouraged but not required.
